Important Info for Extras

Important information to know after being cast to be an extra in a film:

For Future Reference: Just because it is raining when you get up to come to the set, doesn't mean that we aren't going to film. You should come anyway, as it may stop raining, or they may shoot another scene until it stops raining! I will always post on this site if the day has been canceled! So always check before you come to set to see if there are any changes! Thanks!

SPECIAL NOTE! Please do not bring children or anyone to the set that has any kind of medical problems. We are filming outside in the stands and it is hot!

PLEASE DO NOT BRING VALUABLES TO THE SET!

IF YOU DO, THEN YOU KEEP THEM WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES! WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS!

Please bring sunblock, hats, umbrellas, a cooler with ice and drinks and snacks OR a coat, extra socks, blanket, etc, depending on the season that we are filming. Come prepared!

As we all know, things are subject to change on a moment's notice, so please check back here to see if there are any changes before you come!

ALL TIMES WILL BE POSTED THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU ARE TO WORK. SO, IF YOU ARE TO WORK ON THURSDAY, WE WILL POST THE TIME ON WED NIGHT...IF YOU ARE TO WORK ON FRIDAY, WE WILL POST ON THURSDAY NIGHT.

IF SOMEONE IS LATE, (I will wait for them for 15 minutes), and if YOU are there waiting to see if you can be used, I will pull you and put you in their spot. So, if you are called, please remember to NOT BE LATE, as I will not hold your spot if you are late. BUT....if you are going to be late, and you CALL ME on my cell phone, I WILL HOLD YOUR SPOT!

INFORMATION FOR CHILDREN

If you have a child that is under the age of 18, and they are working in NC, they have to have a worker's permit.

Please note, that there are NO child labor laws that restrick the number of hours that an extra can work under the ENTERTAINMENT/FILM industry. This means that the film production companies are exempt from the child labor laws. If your child works, they could work up to 12 hours on a movie set. However, the production company is sensitve to the hours that can be worked by children, and will work accordingly.

Please bring the form filled out and their SS# and their birth certificate, drivers license or passport COPY!

Please do NOT bring the original of their birth certficate,etc! We will fill out and send back.

Please note that you will be called if we need you to work.

Please do not call us. You may not be called until the night before.

If you are called to work, you will be expected to work the whole day which could be 12 hours or more. Please bring something to keep you occupied while you sit and wait for your time to be filmed. A book, newspaper, games, cards, etc.

You should eat before you come, and bring snacks to have during the day, just in case you have special requirements for food.

You will be fed on set. That is usually 6 hours after CREW CALL. Not 6 hours after you are to be there.

You may be asked to be there at 6:00am, but the CREW may have a 7:00AM call. That would mean that at 1:00pm, or there about, lunch would be ready.

If you commit to work the 6 days in a row, we do expect you to be there those days. If for some reason you can't or something comes up, please let us know!
